Thanks to the quick response by members from Overstrand Municipality’s Rapid Response Unit, two suspects were caught with stolen goods just before Kromco on the N2 near Grabouw on 26 March 2024.
The law enforcement officers attended a court hearing in Grabouw and received a complaint that a truck had loaded pine wood sheets at Davidsons Boards in Hermanus and made false payments. It left with the material headed towards Cape Town. The material, valued at R84 714.75, was recovered.
The suspects were taken to Grabouw Saps. OM Press release
