BETTY’S BAY – The Hangklip-Kleinmond Business Forum hosted a successful meeting with local business people at Crassula Hall on Monday evening. The discussion aimed to reignite interest in revitalising the forum. 

According to Annalize Grimbeek, a member of the forum’s interim committee, approximately 35 people attended the meeting.“ The level of engagement was encouraging, with many expressing their eagerness to contribute to the forum’s initiatives,” Grimbeek said. 

The forum plans to hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in Kleinmond Town Hall. A new board of directors, representing a broad spectrum of the community, will be elected at the meeting. 

Grimbeek revealed that several initiatives are already in the pipeline, including free Level 1 First Aid training. Six attendees signed up for the program during the meeting. Additionally, two businesses have committed to participating in the marketing network event scheduled for April 17, 2025. 

Marina Snelling, from Redi Holdings Recruitment, shar-ed her appreciation for the meeting in a message to Grimbeek. “It was a well-organised and insightful session. It is evident that our community holds immense potential, with many talen-ted, businessminded indi-viduals ready to con-tribute their skills.”
