PRESS RELEASE– Residents are kindly invited to use the Overstrand Citizen App to request services or report any concerns, including incidents involving taxis speeding. This is particularly relevant in areas like Onrus and Vermont, where some residents have expressed concerns.
When reporting such issues, please select either the Law Enforcement (by-law offences) or Traffic Services (traffic offences) icon. Include the date, time, number plate, and street address for a more accurate record. This helps the Municipality track and address concerns related to speeding taxis.
To download the Collab Citizen App, go to your phone’s app store and search for the green Collab Citizen icon.

Once downloaded, open the App to register:
- Click on Register and complete all fields
- 1a. Remember, you will log in with your email address so, make sure you have the correct email address
- When all required fields are completed, click on Register and follow the steps
- Your account has been created
- Type in the email address you just created and log in
- A quick tour will tell you what all the buttons mean
- Click on NEXT to navigate through the tour
