- We would like this to be an informative, fun and safe place to visit. Needless to say, we won’t have racism, sexism, pornographic material or abuse of any kind. Our moderators will simply hide your post/comment/reaction and then block and remove you from the site. The same goes for personal attacks, slander or any manner of offensive or fraudulent behaviour. Users can report such actions from the dropdown in each post. Any attempt at either manipulating the site or misusing our awards, points, badges and ranks system will result in blocking and removal from the site.
- We retain the right to publish content or not and also to remove content and restrict membership.
- Awards, rewards, points, ranks and badges remain the prerogative of the Overstrand Herald. They are only redeemable at our partners and within 7 days of the discount code being issued. We are obviously going to have to adapt the points and rewards system as we go along. We’re also new to this.
- By using the site you are giving Overstrand Herald the right to use your content, as you would on Facebook or any other social media site. You retain the intellectual rights to the content. and can at any time remove your profile and thus your content.
- You agree not to use this page to advertise or promote your business, product or event in any way. You are welcome to join as a partner and then use our platform to advertise.
- We are not an archive. Please store your valuable content elsewhere. We will probably remove content older than three months on a regular basis, depending on the site’s usage at any given time.

While we will do everything possible to keep the site and all our services working properly and online at all times, we simply cannot guarantee it. There will also be times when we have to take the site offline to make necessary changes or deploy updates
